Succulent Garden

We sent out this super cute succulent garden for a thank you. This customer wanted something to show how grateful he is to someone who makes running his business so very smooth. He was not sure what to send so he left it up to us. We put this together thinking it would be just perfect for an office desk. The customer and the recipient loved it!

My favorite part about Recycled containers!

I just love using all recycled/up-cycled materials! It makes each arrangement unique to the person it is for! Today I had two orders that were very similar. One was for two dozen red roses and the other for two dozen yellow. At a traditional florist these two would look identical, just different in color. This is how they looked coming from EcoFlora:

This is two dozen Yellow roses in a mauve ceramic "bowling ball" looking vase. We tied the colors together using pink wax flower and it was stunning! The customer wanted yellow roses and something ceramic for his 9th anniversary. This absolutely perfect vase was picked out specifically for this customer.
This two dozen Red rose arrangement was a little more traditional in shape, but check out that vase! It is a vintage green vase that my Mom found at a second hand store! The accent in this arrangement is variegated pitt, which I adore!

Up-cycled light bulb terrariums!

These light bulbs are old street bulbs that we got from the city of Westerville.
We took out the innards and planted cute little succulents!
They make great contemporary hanging plants for a home or office!
They are inexpensive and make great unique gifts! We gave one to our neighbors Woody and Evelyn when they moved their Meadery, Brother's Drake, to 5th Ave!

New Business Cards!

In an effort to be a little more "green" I am switching from printed business cards to handmade ones. The Bexley Natural Market has been saving thin cardboard inserts for me and I purchased a stamp from RubberStampPress on etsy.com. I have cut the cardboard into small squares, stamped them and now I have cute little up-cycled business cards!

I actually have ordered a second stamp that is a little bigger, and has our phone number on it. Some of the cardboard is big enough that I am going to be using is as price tags/ descriptions, cards for messages and more!
